Dr. Imran Sharief was born and raised in Pakistan and educated in one of the best schools in the country. He did his Medical schooling from Dow Medical College, one of the premier medical schools in Pakistan.

Internal Medicine training was at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac MI and Wayne State University Detroit MI and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship from the Medical University of Ohio.Dr. Sharief is specialize in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Sharief has a passion for sleep disorders including Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Central Sleep Apnea, insomnia, Restless leg disorder, and circadian rhythm disorder.

During his training, Dr. Sharief developed a significant interest in sleep which included providing excellent patient care and performing research. He has been in practice for more than 18 years He has written multiple papers and has been a reviewer in prestigious clinical journals.

Dr. Sharief then obtained his Sleep Medicine Fellowship from Henry Ford Hospital. Henry Ford Hospital is well known in the United States and abroad for Sleep research and patient care in the area of sleep medicine.

Dr. Sharief enjoys his time away from work with his wife and four young children, ages tweenty, fourteen, ten and nine. Whether it be playing with his kids or enjoying a good basketball, soccer, or cricket game, Dr. Sharief enjoys family and leisure time.
